From a few clocks to a room full of joy
It all began with a fascination for unusual clocks, expanding over the years to embrace dolls, bears, toys, and countless other interesting finds. After retirement, I envisioned building something special to pass on for my children, grandchildren and great grandkids. A legacy born from passion. Several years later, the collection has lovingly outgrown my home!
The journey of each treasure
My kids suggested opening a store. So here we are! I researched and documented much of the collection thus far, in an attempt to preserve the fascinating history behind each piece. Our physical building is here! We are now finishing the interior details and preparing to officially open first week in July! Each item at Mom's Joy Room, whether large or small, is a treasure, hand-selected for its intrinsic value, rich history, and undeniable beauty. Some pieces are so cherished they may never be up for sale, by me or my heirs, yet their beauty and stories are meant to be appreciated by all who visit. We believe in sharing these unique stories and aesthetic wonders with the world.
We have large, small and everything in between. Treasures from $25 and up and a "THRIFT" section coming soon. It's not all high dollar but you probably won't find any yard sale items here either. There's something for everyone. Whether you're a serious collector and see something special to complete your own personal collection or are simply looking for a unique keepsake for yourself or maybe a thoughtful gift to share with a loved one. No antique experts live here. I'm certainly not one. Just a lady that has very much enjoyed the years long collecting journey and would love to share the joy it has brought me with others. Step back into the past and enjoy! The beautiful items showcased on my new website are only a fraction of the timeless treasures that will be available to see and touch when we open. In the meantime, items here will be updated and showcased regularly so stay tuned. There's always something new to check out!
