We have loved welcoming many friendly faces to our new driveway shop since opening! However, to give our customers the best possible experience—and to keep my own daily schedule a bit more manageable and health conscious—We are moving to a By Appointment  schedule Monday-Thursday.  Open 12-6 pm Friday and Saturday and Sunday 1-5 pm    Just call or text 304-282-3671 if you want to visit earlier in the week. We live on site and are flexible.

A year and half ago, I survived an aortic dissection and more than twelve hours of emergency open-heart surgery — surgery my doctors were skeptical I'd make it through, much less recover from. God is indeed good, merciful, and clearly was not done with me yet. Coming out the other side, I decided that although I'm long retired and more likely than not on borrowed time, I wasn't going to sit around waiting. So here we are — and to Him goes the glory!

For many years, I collected beautiful, unique oddities, antiques, and vintage treasures, originally intending them as a living inheritance for my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. But the collection grew — past the walls of our home and past my husband's good will! As a family, we decided to share these treasures with our great Morgantown community and beyond. We purchased a dedicated 12x24' building, wired and insulated it, finished the interior, added climate control, and set up Mom's Joy Room right in our driveway. It's actually quite nice — a wee bit small by brick-and-mortar standards, but plenty roomy for most of our treasures and a few visitors at a time. Several kind visitors have complimented the layout and contents, and I'm graciously proud of that.

Every piece inside has been curated with love. Most items (and the work continues) feature an AI-researched valuation certificate detailing its history, description, current market value, and replacement value. These are downloadable and meant to help educate you about the pieces that catch your eye — not to set the price. If you see something you love, let's negotiate a price that works for both of us! I accept cash and check, and while I don't take cards directly, you can pay through PayPal, which accepts them all.

This shop is still an inheritance for my family (if the Lord tarries) — just in a new, active form. It's a testimony of love and gratitude to the only One who gives life and purpose, and who — whether we realize it or not — holds each of our lives in His hands. It was built with and for family: wired, paneled, painted, and signed by the people I love most.

It's not just a business. It's a second act, a legacy — a joy room in every sense of the word.
